Spiritual Accompaniment

Sometimes people need spiritual accompaniment through a time of transition or awakening.  Spiritual accompaniment involves deep, active listening. This is giving one’s whole and complete attention to the other person, providing a safe and loving container for whatever they need to share. Being heard in this way is the first step in spiritual healing and growth.

In addition to active listening, I provide other spiritual resources such as prayer, guided meditation, music, readings, and others, tailored to each person’s particular spiritual needs.  I have accompanied people through the dying process, through bereavement, through leaving toxic relationships, through awakening to their pain for the Earth, through parenting challenges, through healing from trauma, through reproductive loss, and many other challenging transitions.
